What do you think?

This month's question is very simple.  I'm sure other fans will be interested in this as well.  I know I get asked this question all the time.  The question is....
How did you become an Ant and Dec fan?

Comments:  It's funny because people always ask me how did I hear of Ant and Dec living all the way in Canada... Well basically, we get Smash Hits over here.. so one day I was flipping through the pages and I saw these two gorgeous guys called Ant and Dec.. otherwise known as PJ and Duncan.. and a pen pal of mine from the UK had been telling me about them and going on about how great they are.   So I wrote her and asked her if she would mind sending me a copy of the album "Psyche" and she did!! :)  When I first heard their album, I was impressed right away.  I really liked what I heard... esp. Eternal Love... :)  I wasn't to keen on some of the other songs however, but overall I thought it was a good album.  And as the years have gone by, I think that they have gotten better and better and I have remained a fan ever since!!! :)

Comments:  We'd always liked Ant and Dec and when we got tickets to see "Unzipped" being filmed we were just happy to get a day off school......at first!  Waiting outside was a nightmare, our hair was a mess and it was bloody freezing!  When we eventually got into the studio we were shaking for no reason at all really. The filming started and it was really exciting. Seeing Ant and Dec in the flesh was brilliant, cos you got the chance to see what they were like behind all of the media reports. They seemed really nice and down to earth.  After that we hated Peter Andre and worshiped Ant and Dec.

Comments:  I have been an Ant and Dec fan for nearly 4 years now!  I remember watching them in 'Byker Grove' but sparks first flew when I saw them on 'Top of the Pops' performing 'Let's Get Ready to Rhumble'!  That was in July '94 so I guess I am a pretty devoted fan.  I've loved them ever since then I've been to 2 of their concerts and you would need a year to go through all my posters and articles of them!  If I had to choose between them it would be really hard but I'd have to choose DEC because he's just so lovely!!! Clare Buckfield is so lucky to have him, I hope she knows it!  Ant's gorge as well though! I have to meet them before I die!

Comments:  There was this rubbishy pop duo called PJ and Duncan who sang a really awful song called Why me?, but one day they were on TOTP singing Let's Get Ready To Rhumble, and I decided they were kind of cool.  I then bought Our Radio Rocks, and after that I've bought all their singles and collected over 150 posters of them.

Comments:  I first started liking Ant and Dec when I split up with my then boyfriend Mark who'd I'd been seeing for nearly 3 years. Pop music really cheered me up - I was very depressed and the indie music that I was into (and still am) was really depressing.  Ant and Dec became my favourite pop band because of the're characters and they are so funny - not to mention gorgeous.  Also they come from quite near me and I like northern people so that attracted me to them also.  I have seen them in concert at Newcastle and they were excellent - much better than Blur when I saw them at Newcastle.  I mainly like Drum and Bass and House music now - bands like Death in Vegas, Leftfield, Stone Roses, Chemical Brothers but Ant and Dec will always be up there with my favourite because they got me through such a bad time - I'll never forget that.

Comments:  I have been an Ant and Dec fan for years now but my most memorable occasion was last year when I got tickets for "unzipped."  Me and my friend Louise and my bro Phil went along and were having a great time until a new section called dad gags
came along.  I have never been more shocked in my life!  Ant came to speak to me to ask if my dad was embarrasing and then my dad came on and did Frank Spencer.  It was the episode entitled "the girlfriend".  Afterwards we got to meet the lads and i have to say they are some of the nicest (and the most gorgeous) people you could meet.  If you fancy a laugh check it out!

Comments:  It all started when Declan dropped the soap shortly after being sent to prison.  Not really.  He's just the loveliest Geordie I've ever seen, and he goes up and down just like me.  Declan, Declan, Declan, I hope you are what you seem to be
we go up and down, Declan and me.  Let me know if anyone knows where to get a poster of them.  I'd love to hang one
outside my flat

Comments:  I love Ant and Dec.  I think I would like Ant more because he is very handsome and clear, but they haven't come to Hong Kong.  Although I am very unhappy, but I would support them.  Do you?  I think Love is very important.I believe God. God will give love to you as same as you love everyone. So, I think love isn't game. Everything can't change your love. So, you must keep your love.

Comments:  I became a fan in 96 when they came to OZ and I thought Ant was a mega babe! I rushed out and bought Top Katz.
Then one day I was at HMV in the city and found Pschye.  OMIGOD! I was actually screaming in the middle of store and everybody was looking at me like I was the biggest loony, but it was worth it!  Then one day I was flipping through some CD's at another
music store and I found The Cult of Ant & Dec, I had been looking EVERYWHERE for it and was just about to give up hope!
one last message: ANT & DEC RULE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Comments:  I have been an Ant and Dec fan for about four years now. I became an Ant and Dec fan when I was 7 years old. I walked into a record shop with my Dad, and Ant and Dec were playing on the loud speakers. I really liked it and started dancing around the shop.  I bought my first Ant and Dec tape when I was 8 years old. They have been my favourite band ever since!

Comments:  I HAVE LIKED ANT AND DEC  EVER SINCE THEY FIRST APPEARED IN BYKER GROVE.  I FELL INSTANTLY IN LOVE WITH THEM.  I HAVE LIKED THEM FOR ABOUT 5 YEARS.  I'VE BEEN TO ALL THEIR CONCERTS, BOUGHT ALL THEIR SINGLES AND ALBUMS AND HAVE ALL THEIR MERCHANDISE.  MY WALL IS TOTALLY COVERED WITH POSTERS.
I HAVE ALL THEIR SHOWS ON TAPE AND KNOW PRACTICALLY ALL THE SCRIPT, I GUESS YOU COULD SAY I
AM OBSESSED.  IT IS MY DREAM TO MEET THEM, JUST SEEING THEM IN CONCERT ISNT ENOUGH.  DEC IS MY FAVE BECAUSE OF HIS CUTE BABY FACE AND CHEEKY LITTLE GRIN.

Comments:  1989, a friend tells me of a new show called "Byker Grove" so we settle down to watch.  There's this cute looking fella called Duncan played by Declan something, so I decide to watch next week.  A series or so later, in walks PJ. That's it, hooked! The day Ant left the series, I cried buckets.  So, when I heard "Why Me?" on the radio I thought "Yeah! Excellent!".  Rushed straight out and bought a copy.  I must be the saddest fan in the history of A & Ddom now, I have all their shows on tape etc., but only one query:  WHY DO THEY NEVER PLAY BELFAST?!!!

Comments:  I first liked Ant and Dec through their concert.  I wanted to see Take That, but went to see them instead.  I've ALMOST met them twice, and think that they are the greatest band.  I'm really looking forward to the SMTV live starting this Saturday morning, ITV at 9.30am

Comments:  I don't actually remember where I first heard of Ant and Dec I think it was on Top of the Pops I first heard them singing but I had seen them in Byker Grove as PJ and Duncan a couple of times.  After I bought Psyche I was totally in love with Declan and I got hooked on their music, since then I have been in the audience of the very first series of the Ant and Dec show on the BBC
with my mate and my little sister, I have been to one date of every tour and I have bought every single and album not to mention video, book, magazine, T-shirt, Wallet, Bag, Poster, Badge, Whistle, Scarf and I even did 2 school projects for music class on Ant and Dec. I have a picture of Declan in my silver heart locket and I wear it all the time. I now support Newcastle United FC and
have badges, T-shirts, Baseball caps and even the official strip because Ant and Dec support them.
